The controller of personal data processed for its own activities on skvcargo.eu is SKV CARGO LTD., UIC 205892815, with its registered office and address of management at: Bulgaria, Sofia, Izgrev District, 13B “Tintyava” St., apt. ground floor.

Data and purposes

The website does not offer user registration or online payments. We do not collect data through it for creating an account or making an online payment.

When you submit an enquiry, we process the name, company, email address, telephone number, message and details of the requested service that you provide, such as the route, date and vehicle. All form enquiries are sent directly to cargo@skvltd.com and are handled there by SKV Cargo. Access to the mailbox containing enquiries is restricted to authorised persons at SKV Cargo. We use the data to consider your enquiry, clarify the necessary information and respond or prepare a quotation.

The telephone number is a mandatory field in the forms. The travel date in quotation and tunnel enquiries is optional. The form cannot be submitted without the necessary contact details; if no date is provided, further clarification may be needed. Do not include a personal identification number, copies of identity documents, payment card details or health data in the free-text message.

Technical data

When you visit the website, its infrastructure may process technical data necessary to deliver pages and maintain security, such as your IP address, the time of the request, the requested URL and browser information.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics for statistics on visits and website use and to improve the website’s content and operation. Depending on the settings, the information processed includes pages viewed, interactions, the source of a visit, device and browser information, and analytics identifiers. Analytics is activated only after consent to the analytics category. You can change or withdraw your choice through “Cookie Settings”.

Google Search Console

We use Google Search Console to monitor indexing and the website’s performance in Google, including reports on impressions, clicks and search queries. Connecting the website to Search Console does not, in itself, require analytics cookies to be placed in a visitor’s browser. The choice regarding Google Analytics is managed separately through the cookie settings.

Access to enquiries and technical providers

Enquiries are received at cargo@skvltd.com and reviewed only by authorised persons at SKV Cargo. The website is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), in the Frankfurt region, Germany.

Hosting providers and providers of outgoing and incoming email services support the technical processing and delivery of information. This is distinct from SKV Cargo employees’ access to the content of enquiries. Google provides the Analytics and Search Console services used. Data may be disclosed to competent authorities where required by applicable law.

Retention periods

We apply retention periods according to the purpose and necessity of the data. The periods below for enquiries, technical logs, analytics and cookie choices are periods under SKV Cargo’s policy, not general periods imposed by law. We delete data earlier when it is no longer necessary and there is no other applicable basis for retaining it.

Enquiries from the three forms and related email correspondence, where no contract follows
Up to 24 months from the last substantive correspondence about the specific enquiry.
Responses, follow-up clarification and tracking the requested quotation. A new, unrelated enquiry does not extend the retention period of the previous one.

Standard technical access, error and security logs
Up to 90 days from the creation of the record.
Technical maintenance, diagnostics and protection against misuse.

Backup copies of enquiries and technical data, if maintained
Up to 30 days after deletion from active systems.
Recovery following a technical incident. During this period, copies are not used for ongoing service; if restored, previous deletions are reapplied.

User data and event data covered by the GA4 data retention setting
A 14-month setting, with the reset of the user data retention period on new activity disabled. Deletion takes place during Google’s monthly processing after the applicable period expires.
Analysis of website use, including comparisons between seasons. This setting does not limit the retention period of standard aggregated reports and does not determine the lifetime of analytics cookies.

Cookie preference saved on the device
Up to 12 months from the last explicit choice, without automatic renewal on every visit. A new choice is requested earlier if the purposes or categories change materially.
Remembering and applying preferences. You can change your choice at any time.

Minimum evidence of consent given or withdrawn
For as long as the relevant processing based on that consent continues; afterwards, only to the extent necessary for a specific legal obligation or legal claim.
Demonstrating the basis, scope, version and time of the choice. Withdrawal stops future analytics immediately. The record is not used for tracking, and its retention period is not automatically equated with the 12-month period for saved preferences.

Data relating to a specific complaint, incident or legal dispute
For the period necessary in the circumstances, taking into account the applicable limitation periods and any legal obligation or order.
Investigation and the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Only relevant data is retained; the continuing need for retention is reviewed periodically.

If an enquiry leads to a contract outside the website, retention of the necessary part of the correspondence is determined by the separate purpose of performing the contract, protecting rights and complying with applicable legal obligations. SKV provides additional information about that subsequent processing. This does not automatically mean retaining all enquiries or the entire mailbox for the periods applicable to accounting documents.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions provided by law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Send your request to cargo@skvltd.com. We respond without undue delay, normally within one month. Where necessary because of the complexity or number of requests, this period may be extended by up to two further months. In that case, we will inform you of the extension and the reasons within the first month. If there are reasonable doubts about your identity, we may request proportionate additional information.

You may lodge a complaint with the Commission for Personal Data Protection or another competent supervisory authority and seek judicial protection.

Changes to the Policy

We update this Policy when processing changes. We provide the necessary information about new purposes and, where consent is required, request it separately.

Partner tools and redirects

When you use an external platform, the data you provide there is processed by the parties identified in its privacy policy. Opening that platform may disclose technical data to it, such as your IP address and browser information. An embedded tool may also connect to an external provider while you are still on our website; this is described for the specific integration.

If a tool transmits search parameters or other personal data to a partner, we provide information before the relevant processing about the recipient, the data, the purposes, the legal basis, the relevant retention periods and any international transfers. Data from enquiry forms addressed to SKV Cargo is not automatically shared with commercial partners merely because you use the website or follow a link.

The roles of SKV Cargo and the partner are determined by the actual processing. Where consent is required, it is requested separately and in advance; accepting the Terms of Use does not replace it.
